We are now looking for a Junior Project Manager for a growing company that works with critical infrastructure — from power cables and fiber to charging infrastructure and connections for wind and solar power, where you will develop closely with experienced colleagues and gradually take on greater responsibility in projects that build the future power grid. As a Junior Project Manager, you will work on the execution of excavation and cable contracts within electrical power and energy distribution. The role means that you will gradually take on greater responsibility for the planning, economy, and execution of projects together with experienced colleagues.

You will coordinate resources in the projects and act as an important link between clients, production, and subcontractors. The role requires structure, solution focus, and good collaboration skills, and gives you the opportunity to develop in project management, finance, work environment, and customer relations with the goal of eventually managing your own projects.

The position is based at the company's office in Helsingborg or Malmö, but the work takes place largely out in the projects. You will therefore be traveling several days a week, normally about three days in the project and one to two days in the office. It is therefore important that you are flexible and see that a mobile job fits your everyday life.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in the planning and execution of contract projects within electrical power and cable
• Follow up on project economics, costs, and forecasts
• Coordinate production, resources, and subcontractors
• Ensure that work is performed according to applicable safety and work environment requirements
  

• Have education in construction, civil engineering, electrical power, or similar (YH, university, or master's degree)
• Have practical experience from contract, electrical, or construction projects (either from work before studies or summer jobs/part-time work)
• Enjoy a role where you collaborate with both production and clients
• Have a B driver's license and are open to traveling several days a week
• Have good knowledge of both Swedish and English as both languages are used in internal contact areas every day

It is not necessary, but meritorious if you have:

• Experience from the industry previously

We are looking for someone who is driven, responsible, and structured, with the ability to plan and follow up on the various parts of the project. You are a team player with good social skills, who easily creates relationships and collaborates with both colleagues and clients. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and unafraid of new, varied tasks, and have a practical understanding of production and technology.

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client and our side is that you will eventually be directly employed by the client.

• Location: You will either be based in Helsingborg or Malmö but preferably live around Kristianstad to be able to reach the projects around Skåne/Blekinge/Kalmar
